Date: 07/10/2020   MEDIA RELEASE Parish Council makes Pledge to Peace Lib Dem Councillor Sam Al-Hamdani welcomed the decision of Saddleworth Parish Council to back the international Pledge for Peace, making Oldham the only place in the UK where the Borough and Parish Councils have signed up to the pledge. The Pledge to Peace is an international commitment for any individuals or organisations “to encourage projects and actions promoting peace in its most universal meaning”.
